  These sophisticated Eco-design tankers deserve the optimum equipment, and the cargo gauging system was carefully selected in tough competition with other reputable suppliers.

• KROHNE Skarpenord wins CARGOMASTER® orders for Dalian Ocean Shipping VLCC's in China
  Dalian Shipbuilding (DSIC) is building the first tankers in the prestigious shipowner’s new VLCC program. 
  
  
• Scorpio and SPP select KROHNE Skarpenord’s products for large series of MR Tankers
  For the SPP newbuildings being part of Scorpio’s extensive new tanker program, KROHNE Skarpenord was selected as supplier of both fuel flow gauges and cargo gauging systems.
  
  
• CARGOMASTER® chosen by Thenamaris on their newbuildings at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding
  CARGOMASTER® with OPTIWAVE cargo level radars was chosen for Thenamaris Ships Management Inc. newbuildings at STX Offshore and Shipbuilding, Jinhae Shipyard in South Korea.
  
  
• Monitoring of storage tanks for FPSO BW Athena
  The FPSO BW Athena was converted and extended 20 meters in Drydocks World in Dubai. KROHNE Skarpenord received the order for monitoring of 10 storage tanks onboard. 
  
  
• 33rd International Bunkering Conference
  18. – 20. April KROHNE Skarpenord attended the 33rd International Bunkering Conference in Oslo. The EcoMATE® system for monitoring of fuel consumption and bunkering where exhibited. 


• Massive CARGOMASTER® order for VLCC's in China
  KROHNE Skarpenord has received 6 + 6 orders for CARGOMASTER® Tank monitoring systems on VLCC's in China. The systems are extensive, including full redundancy on the monitoring side. 
  
  
• New CARGOMASTER® order for tanker in Taiwan
  The project is for Taiwanese shipowner CPC, operating a large fleet of tankers focusing on local oil and chemical supply. This project is for their new 6500 dwt. chemical tanker(s) in Jong Shyn Shipyard.
  
  
• Stolt Nielsen installed OPTIWAVEs
  During dry docking in Santander in Spain in November, Stolt installed OPTIWAVE cargo level radars for all 20 cargo tanks on the Stolt Pelican. The installation works were performed efficiently by the ship's crew and local yard workers, and finally commissioned and tested by our service engineer.
  
  
• Largest order at SLS Shipyard, Korea
  KROHNE Skarpenord secured a large order from SLS in November for CARGOMASTER® systems on a series of chemical tankers. The tanker design is new, and has an improved EEDI (Energy Efficiency Design Index) compared to existing designs. 
  
  
• Retrofit Jette Theresa & Charlotte Theresa
  Herning Shipping decided to replace the systems with KROHNE Skarpenord equipment, based on good experience from the use of our systems on their 8.000 dwt Chinese built tankers. 
  
  
• Dynacom Tankers Management ordered CARGOMASTER® and OPTIWAVE
  Dynacom decided to have CARGOMASTER® and OPTIWAVE installed on their new VLCCs on order in Hyundai Heavy Ind. Ulsan yard, Korea.
  
  
• CARGOMASTER® Tank Level Monitoring system is chosen by Odfjell on their newbuildings at ChuanDong, China
  We are proud to announce that CARGOMASTER® with OPTIWAVE radar was chosen for Odfjell’s newbuildings at ChuanDong, China. The contract is for complete systems of high secification on 6 stainless steel chemical tankers.
  
  
• Largest order for CARGOMASTER® in Dae Sun Shipyard, Korea
  The largest order ever for KROHNE Skarpenord was signed with Dae Sun Shipbuilding recently. Full CARGOMASTER® tank level gauging systems including radar beam type for cargo tanks was signed for Greek owners Remi Maritime and N. G. Moundreas projects.
